Prologue

I'm not sure yet how I'll utilize this blog, as I've used another one extensively for several years. It seems as if Google Mail "gave" me this account, and I was not aware came with the Google suite of apps.

For now, I'll use this as a "tidbits about me" post:

• Goth since the late 80's
• Artist, sewer, clothing designer, crafter, art director for print publications & branding
  
• Love goth, industrial, big band, new wave, raunchabilly, and classic punk music
• Fascinated with the Victorian era
• Also fascinated with the 1920s-1930s in America
• Cat near-worshiper (we have 4 of our own plus multiple strays outside who depend on me)
• Happily partnered with my "permanent traveling companion" since 2002
• Love wine, liquors, and liqueurs - but loathe beer
• Chronic migraineur and chronically headaching
